While I was searching for the top search engines list yesterday, I came across as statement in one of the sites:
“Search Engine Submission does not help you rank in the top 10”
I have to say that this is definitely true… but you will still need to submit your website to the search engines. The site may not be in the top 10 ranking… but it won’t even be listed in the top 100000 if we don’t announce its’ existence.
As mentioned, I have already submitted my sites to Google, Yahoo! (not authenticated yet) and Bing… and I am looking at some alternate search engines too besides Ask and AOL.
I have tried searching for my own sites after submission… and hmm… couldn’t locate my sites at all. Guess I have a lot more work to do to get them into some ranking at least.
Also, I will be registering with Adbrite today… and why Adbrite? Well, I will be using it for one of my other blogs of which the content is not permitted by Adsense.
OK… I will leave this at here and proceed with Adbrite registration now. Get back to you guys later on. Ciao for now.

Great post about Twitter. I think Twitter is going to be one of the stronger networks because of the fact that it is supported by so many industries. I also think when Twitter shows some of it’s new functions, returning traffic will increase to show the real growth of the network. Keep up the good work!
